Membership Dues are $295 and are renewed annually on the anniversary of the date you join. As a member you are entitled to several benefits:
Access to the NADR Talklist. This is a forum you can receive everyday in a live or "digested" format. It enables you to get quick answers to questions and share your experience with members about all subjects related to disability. Sample Talklist Thread
Access to the Members Only section of our website for Practice Resources. NADR maintains and continually updates a library of invaluable practice resource forms and helpful links to further your development as a Social Security practitioner. Some of the items offered in this resource section include case intake forms, sample interrogatories, redacted briefs, and sample letters.
Subscription to the NADR News. This informative newsletter is published by NADR three to four times annually and includes valuable articles about the practice of social security law and other helpful membership information.
E-news bulletins. In addition to our newsletter, we send out regular "E-news" bulletins via e-mail to keep members updated on the work of the organization.
NADR Lobbying. As a member you enjoy the benefits of our lobbying activities in Washington, DC. NADR played a crucial role in the establishment of the Social Security Protection Act of 2004. We lobbied for the fee withholding demonstration project for non-attorneys and for SSI fee withholding for attorneys. Discounted products and services. Currently NADR has corporate sponsors that offer members valuable discounts on products the membership has said they want and need (See Corporate Sponsors).
National Annual Conference Discounts. NADR offers members a reduced rate for our annual convention each Spring and regional mini-conferences every Fall. These conferences are conveniently moved to different locations each year. The sessions offered are designed to meet the CLE/CEU requirements of the attendees.hese educational seminars not only help improve the skills of representatives, but also offer tremendous fellowship and networking opportunities. Discounted CEU recordings. NADR offers discounted recordings of our conference sessions to members that are unable to attend our conferences in person.
Access to the NADR Telephone Referral System (TRS). Members are given the opportunity to participate in a nationwide program that helps disability claimants find a representative via a nationwide "800" telephone number that direct connects potential clients to your office. Open enrollment for TRS begins November 15th and runs through January 5th. Beginning with the 2011 Open Enrollment period, registrations completed after January 5th will be assessed a 15% late fee. No additional registrations will be accepted after January 31st.
Representative Map. Members are eligible for listing on the "Find A Representative" map on the NADR website. To be listed, you must show proof of malpractice or E&O insurance.
