NADR Responds to Recent Indictments of Disability Insurance Fraud in the News

This morning Sam Johnson (R-TX) The Social Security Subcommittee Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee issued a statement regarding recent indictments for Disability Insurance fraud in Kentucky and West Virginia.  Program abuses such as those alleged in the indictments create a more difficult environment for all of us to work in, and make it much more difficult to get clients approved who genuinely can no longer work to support themselves and their families due to disability.  NADR continually fights to ensure ethical, honest, and qualified representation of our clients by providing training, ADR certification, annual conferences, and advocacy.  We have a great reputation as an organization and should band together to ensure that ethics is one of our first considerations when working on a Social Security claim.  Part of our responsibility to our clients, colleagues, and claimants,  is to ensure that unethical practices are not allowed to continue.  We appreciate your ongoing support for NADR’s efforts and support for SSA in their efforts to reduce or eliminate unethical behavior in our professional arena.
