Mayra attended Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana for three years before transferring to the University of Central Florida where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science with emphasis in American Politics, International Relations, and Prelaw. She also completed her Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Central Florida in 2001. She worked for eigthteen years as an SSA Medical Disability Quality Control Analyst with the Florida Division of Disability in Orlando, Florida and has nineteen years of experience as a Social Security Disability AdvocateNon Attorney Representative.
