In a September Hearing, Congress’s Ways and Means Committee Urges SSA to Address Backlog ​

Chairman Sam Johnson from Texas said too many Americans are waiting years to get an answer on a Social Security Disability Claim.  Attendees suggested the SSA modernize some of their tools and processes and encouraged them to use their resources more efficiently.
